The archive contains one installer. Running install.sh opens the graphical Button Game installer.

Install in three steps

  1. Extract platformless-button-game-linux-button-game-single-20260719075853.tar.zst.
  2. Open the extracted platformless-linux-installer folder.
  3. Run ./install.sh. The graphical installer opens so you can install and play.

The graphical installer shows live progress, verifies signed files, installs Button Game, and keeps repair, updates, logs, privacy, and support in one place.

Verify before opening

The Linux archive has a detached OpenPGP signature. Confirm the release-key fingerprint through the independent OpenPGP keyserver, then download these three files and run the verification command.

Troubleshooting

If the graphical installer does not open, confirm you ran ./install.sh inside your desktop session, then run it again.

Inside the game shell, use Open logs, Verify, or Repair for the next safe step. A failed attempt preserves a previously working installation.

Privacy & security

Game and launcher files are checked against signed release metadata. Crash reports stay local until you review and choose to send one.

Peer-to-peer transfer is optional and controlled from settings; HTTPS remains available.
